Expect to See Some “Interesting” Behavior In Middle School Years
I experienced a flashback during a recent meeting while listening to a mom describe the recent “bizarre” behavior of her 8th grade student. “It may be normal for other kids to act that way, but it is not normal for my son.” Suddenly it seemed like yesterday that my now 32 year-old daughter made her Alien-like (remember those Alien movies?) metamorphose from the sweet girl who lived to snuggle on the sofa with me or play games, to something that can only be described as a product of her mother’s side of the family!
